Kostia-coin

[FI] Kostia-kolikko vierailee mieluiten historia-aiheisissa kätköissä mutta muutkin kätköt toki kelpaavat. Valokuva ois kiva, historiallisista paikoista siis. Kostia-kolikko matkustelee ympäri maailmaa ja palaa takaisin Suomeen, kotiin Pälkäneelle 2013 heinäkuun tienoilla juhlimaan Kostianvirran taistelun 300-vuotispäivää.

[ENG] Kostia-coin prefers to visit historical caches, but other caches will do aswell. Photos of historical places would be nice. Kostia-coin travels around the world for three years and will return to home Pälkäne, Finland around july 2013 to celebrate The 300th Anniversary of Battle of Stream Kostia.

[FI] Kostia-kolikko juhlistaa tulevaa Kostianvirran taistelun 300-vuotispäivää sekä 300. kätkölöytöämme. Herra Nosfera on lyönyt sen omin käsin Kostian Wanhan ajan markkinoilla, Pälkäneellä, heinäkuussa 2010.
Kostianvirran taistelu oli osa Suurta Pohjan sotaa ja käytiin Pälkäneellä, Kostianvirran varrella 6.10.1713. Taistelun 300-juhlavuosi on 2013. Joka kesä Pälkäneellä vietetään Kostia-tapahtumaa jossa 1700-luku herää taas henkiin markkinoiden, perinnejumalanpalveluksen ja näyttelyiden muodossa.

[ENG] Kostia-coin celebrates the upcoming 300th Anniversary of Battle of Kostia and our 300th cache find. Mr Nosfera minted it himself in Old Time Market of Kostia, in Pälkäne in july 2010.
Battle of Stream Kostia was part of Great Northern War. It was located in Pälkäne, Finland, along the Kostia-stream in 6.10.1713. 300th Anniversary of that battle is in 2013. Every summer 18th century comes back to life when people organize Kostia-event with exhibitions, market and traditional sunday service in ruin church.
