To go on walks, swim in any water available, chase rabbits and squirrels, and eat dog biscuits all while geocaching.
Sheila likes to ride in the front seat to see where we're going, while Gromit likes to ride in back to see where we've been and make funny faces at those following us. Also, Gromit does not like 4-wheeling on bumpy roads and will hunker down on the floorboard when we're on the trails. Both Gromit and Sheila long for hikes off leash to any destination at all, romping in the surf at HB Dog Beach, and playing in the snow. These two amazing companions have perservered through all that I have asked them to do and more. They are two of the most loyal, fun, and interesting companions I have ever had.
As of 5/20/11 I am renaming the trackable from "Sheila & Gromit" to "Sheila,' following the loss of Gromit on January 14th due to kidney failure from a rock in his stomach. Gromit will be sorely missed by myself, AngelasOutside, and all who had the privilege of going on a hike with us. Gromit will be receiving his own set of trackables all bearing the same tracking number. There will be several items of Gromit's that will be send out in his honor, so that he may continue to go on adventures.
Sheila has been diagnosed with spondylosis and several vertebrae with decreased disc space and ongoing fusion of the joints. Because of this, the nerves have been significantly impinged and the muscles in her hips and legs have atrophied a great deal. We are in our autumn years together now and the end of our journey together is nigh....
