Sailor Pig has found a new winter home! I know he likes to cruise, but hey, it's winter in Minnesota and the temperatures are firmly entrenched in the single-digits. So, I did the next best thing: we took a winter "cruise" by driving 2 white-knuckle miles across the ice on the largest lake in the Twin Cities Metro area: Lake Minnetonka. We took Sailor Pig to Big Island, a well-traveled island (and a VERY popular boating spot in the summer) that used to house an amusement park 'back in the day'. This location is pretty darn muggle-proof, so another cacher should be along soon to take Sailor Pig on his next great adventure...enclosed are four pictures of his journey - thanks for visiting, and best of luck with your future travels!

Just dropping a note to let everyone know that Sailor Pig is enjoying his stay in Minnesota! It's been three weeks of sub-zero temps, so he's been staying inside to keep warm instead of becoming frozen bacon in any wintry geocaches. Enclosed is a picture of Rachael, my youngest daughter, as she and Sailor Pig were torturing Sumo the geo-pup this morning. More news soon!
