time to learn something about german geocaching traditions !!!
every year on maundy thursday - the geocachers all over germany come together for an event called "Dönerstag".
In 2007 moenk (from berlin) planed to create a "decentral" megaevent all over germany - geocachers should come to serveral places to eat a döner-kebap and to talk and log this online on ONE event - just in several towns... but this was not allowed by geocaching.com
What to do ??
This was the beginning of the biggest geocaching-tradition in germany - if we couldnt have one event - so let's have several ones... this year there are 116 !! "Dönerstage" at the same time - meanwhile even in austria, switzerland and spain.

Its everywhere in germany the same - sit together, have a döner-kebap, have a little talk and after all that - how about some night-caching ...
Hope my english is not to bad
