Brother Block

This little wooden block was given to me by a dear friend of mine that is no longer around back when I was in grade school. The other day when rummaging through old memorabilia, I came across it and it brought back a lot of great memories of some of the best times of my life. I'm sending it out in hopes that others will take the time to remember someone who has made a positive difference in their life, shaping them into who they are now, and are no longer with us.

Found "O Brother" at dusk in a rural area of Bakersfield, CA. I'm a chaplain who works with our local sheriff's dept. I am often called to be with families struggling with the shock, grief and pain of a recent loss. My prayers go with those who will carry this TB.
