Det from Mainz

Det is one of the so-called "Mainzelmännchen". They can be watched on German television in short funny stories between commercials on ZDF, one of the main television networks, which is based in Mainz.

Det wants to visit sister cities of Mainz: He has already been to Louisville, KY (USA), and has been photographed by Aces and Places in front of the Louisville's sister cities lightpost.

Now he is on his way to one of the other sister cities of Mainz: Watford, United Kingdom.

According to an entry in the logbook, Det was taken out of the box already on February 18th. Unfortunately we don't know who took him and there hasn't been an online log since. So we mark the TB missing now, but we don't give up hope that Det will pop up somewhere at some time.

DET had a brief but happy visit in Atlanta, Georgia but decided to tag along this week with me on my trip to Vancouver. Exchanged him for another German TB called Froggy. I will post some pictures of DET when I am back at the home base. Happy travels DET and auf wiedersehen! Bis bald!
