Current Goal

To meet and greet 4-H Clubs all over the country. The coin does NOT need to restrict itself to 4-H Club caches, as it wants to see lots of miles before next years event. There are currently eight members of my 4-H club, the GeoSeekers, who are eagerly watching the movements of this coin. Please do your part and keep this coin MOVING!

About This Item

NYS 4-H Geocoin Proposal

I designed this coin in the spring of 2008 and received funding from the New York State 4-H Geospatial Science Taskforce to have it minted. 250 of these coins were made, and they were officially released at the 2008 4-H Camp Cache Bash Event.

We found this coin in GC3AR7R in Banff, Alberta. It looks like the coin has been unseen for a few months, and has appeared on the other side of Canada. We will bring it down with us back the Pacific Northwest so it can visit the West Coast.

We're on our 2012 roadtrip from Bellevue, Washington to Edmonton, Alberta.
