Current Goal

To be logged in Caches that Bernsa has at some point posted a DNF, but later came back and successfully found the cache. This is to show that Bernsa has overcome the DNF and has turned the frowny face upside down.

About This Item

This GC stays in my personal collection at all times, but will be used as a tracker to log all those caches that I sadly could not find, but happily later successfully found. If I posted a DNF log to the cache and then came back some other time to post a Found log on the cache, this GC will pay a virtual dip.

13th DNF recovery - Retrieved after overcoming a DNF on this traditional cache made on May 20, 2008.

6 years and nearly a month between visits, and yet still making the same mistakes as I did in my first visit when I hardly had 50 finds under my belt! Thankfully purplease was with me and she was open-minded enough to make the find, whereas I kept searching the same spots I checked 6 years prior.

9th DNF recovery - Retrieved after overcoming a DNF on this puzzle cache made on March 7, 2009.

The first attempt I never got near GZ, but instead was consumed by the giant pools of quick sand. Barely managed to escape the first time. Went back a different time of year on the 2nd attempt where the ground wasn't snow covered and I could see where I was walking - this proved to work out a lot better navigating the non-direct path to the cache.

Cache got muggled. CO was quick to replace leading to one of my quickest DNF recoveries to date.
