Current Goal

My goal is to navigate back to the North Star State of Minnesota after doing some sightseeing in at least 10 other states. Ideally, my owner would like me to end up in my home cache -- Woodcrest Park Multi-cache (GCVXFR). If you noticed the temperature when you found me, be sure to record it in your log. Also, record the temperature when you place me in a new cache.

Retrieved Minnie this morning and she will be traveling north shortly. Hope she has enjoyed our Texas heat!

On a perfect Texas afternoon for geocaching, I hiked up the side of a mountain (ok, hill) and found this neat travel bug. My mom was born in Winona, and although I rarely tell anyone, it being so far north of the Mason-Dixon and all, I was born in Bismarck. Anyway it was a balmy 104 degrees as recorded in the picture.

I rescued this poor travel bug from a hot and musky environment today. The temperature, according to the dial, was nearly to the 110 mark! Right now, it's just below the 70.

Will have it back out there in the Texas heat soon.
