About This Item

Steppenwolf

STEPPENWOLF

Scourge of Apokolips

ORIGIN

Steppenwolf is the uncle of the great Darkseid, ruler of the ravaged planet Apokolips. Serving as his nephew's right hand, Steppenwolf oversees the Hunger Dogs and Parademon strike forces. He commands the fear of the populace because he is one of the few trusted by Darkseid, to whom he is always loyal.

FIGURE STATS

Steppenwolf comes with a molded, non-removable backpack and an attached axe with a vac-metallized blade. The axe nicely fits onto the backpack for storage. By squeezing Steppenwolf's legs together he gives his axe a mighty downward swing.

COMMENTS

Another denizen of Apokolips put into figure form, Steppenwolf gained notoriety for being the first Super Powers mail-in character in 1984. Due to the lateness of his release because of the mail-in, Steppenwolf on a second series card with a comic book is one of the more rare pieces to find in the Super Powers Collection. He is more commonly found on a third series card without the comic.

Steppenwolf was stolen with the Nola cache. The Sheriff of Nottingham rescued this bug.

Great work Sheriff. Not only did you rescue Toe Jam and Bolt, but Steppenwolf showed up in that miserable thief's pocket.

Well looky here -- what is this I see?
Could it be the miraculous re-incarnation of the Steppenwolf travel bug?!?
I thought this was supposedly a 'rare' and 'valuable' action figure? Guess not -- must not have been worth the trouble to whoever stole the first one,eh? So sad, too bad for them. 😛

**Steppenwolf SHOULD have been bug find #99 ('joe') for me if I had found it before the 'Nola' cache was stolen. I had CentrisBug (find #100) 😚 with me that day and was planning on logging her with him - pictures and all.

Good luck in your quest Steppenwolf -- but I know for a fact that Wonder Woman Tbug has foiled you at least once in your brief Tbuggy career -- she will probably kick your butt again, so watch out!

  • There he is with CBug and Lil Otter Bug
