Dan is one of those hardscrabble type of miners. Always looking. If he hears of strike somewhere he heads there. So help him get where ever you think he might strike paydirt.Dan promised me before he left that he would send home photos of what he has found. So post a pic of Dan standing in the middle of the caches he finds.

About This Item

I'm Gold Dust Dan and I'm seachin for the Mother Load of caches. Got my grubstake in Texas but places I like to go are the Superstitions in Arizona to look for the Lost Dutchman, Colorado, California and Alaska for gold and Canada or South Africa for diamonds.

Found this little critter hiding beside a downed log on a ridge. He looked ready to head back West and explore some more. I'm taking him to the Indianapolis area. Maybe someone else can get him to the West Coast... but I think he's already missed the Gold Rush of '49 [:8] MrNokon

This cache was just down the road from where I was staying, so decided to stop by and pay a visit. Rolled into the area after the rains, creek was still a bit high so was expecting the worst. Found the cache in good shape, well covered and dry. Took the Gold Dust Dan Travel Bug, left a Where's George for exchange. Pleasant area, love the history here... Thanks for the hide...
