Echoes of the Few set off from Poling Secrets cache in March 2006. Poling was one of an original twenty WWII CH (Chain Home) Radar installations defending against enemy aerial attack. By way of tribute EOTF is on its maiden sortie to fly to the Bawdsey East Lane cache in Suffolk and then land safely back at Poling Secrets in West Sussex. Bawdsey was the first viable Radar installation and experimentation was underway there as early as 1936. Bawdsey therefore, is very much the home of RADAR. So, chocks away, tally ho old bean into the wild blue yonder!
