***english version: Our spider wants to be in the darkness. She likes holes in the ground and caves. But she especially has a preference for nightcaches.
***english version: In the civilizations all over the world spiders have different meanings: Sometimes they are „only“ used for weather forecasts, help when people are gambling - in China the spider is a symbol of luck - or they protect from thunder and lightning. Other people even think spiders bring death or bad illness.
In former times spiders were thought to be something like a witch, by all means they were looked upon as a dangerous creature. In some far away countries people still believe in these old thoughts.
Today we know several proverbs in our country, elsewhere we hear others: One for sorrow – two for mirth – three for a wedding – four for death.
