Fruitty Tutti

This Bug belongs to Miss Fry's Fifth Grade class at Timpanogos Academy in Lindon, Utah. We are studying Latitude and Longitude and we thought having a TravelBug would be a fun way to see the Latitude and Longitude of different places. Please don't hang on to the Bug too long because we want to get lots of e-mails and stories about where our Bug has been so that we can have a "Good educational experience" (That's the kind of stuff our parents are always telling us.) Thank you for your help in moving this bug along. Mr. Finch's class (the "other" 5th Grade class) also has a TravelBug and so we are having a race. We don't want you to find their Bug and hold it up or anything because that wouldn't be very nice. But, if you would try to make sure that our Bug goes more places and travels more miles than theirs does that would be GREAT.

  • Canadian Geese Canadian Geese stay here all year long instead of migrating to Canada. They must like it here.

We took Fruitty Tutti to Americas first wildlife refuge. It is in the Wichita Mountains in southwestern Oklahoma. It was established by Theodore Roosevelt to save the endangered American Bison. These herds have since repopulated the nation, and bison are no longer endangered. At this refuge Bison, Elk, and Longhorn Cattle roam free on the range. It is a beautiful place.
