Hi there! The goal of this Caching On The Moon Geocoin is to travel to Kennedy Space Center, the launch point of Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the moon. Please take as many pictures as you can from all stages the coin visits, especially from Cape Canaveral. Finally please take it back to cache GC1FX5C ("Stolz auf Holz"). Thank you for forwarding this coin.

This travel bug visited the Lunar Module Moon Landing exhibit at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. We will look for a geocache near an airport to drop it in so that it can travel back to Florida and hopefully someone will take it to Cape Canaveral and then send it on its way back to Austria so it can complete its mission.
Picked up this Travel Bug at an event. It has been out of circulation for a long time. Will move it along soon!

picked the mooney up - we're headed north, and we'll try to photograph it with Apollo 11 capsule at the Smithsonian air and space before releasing it south again!
