This is definitely a TB with a story and a mission! The mission of this little piece of hardware is to visit with your wrenches, metric and/or standard, let him chit-chat about all the nuts and bolts it's tightened, and send him back on his way. But please be advised, do NOT let this little guy near your tires (see description)!!!

About This Item

My Tire.... My Wrench

This is simply an 11/32 by 5/16 open ended wrench, nothing fancy, not even a major brand. But on March 22nd I was scooting down from work at lunch to place a cache at a neat place in Sarasota. The cache was placed (It's A Jungle Out There (GCV0R1)) and upon returning to work I heard a hissing from my left rear tire. As I pulled at the little silver spot barely showing in the tread of my tire I was amazed to find myself yanking this wrench embedded completely in my tire. The guys at the tire shop managed to patch it (that's THE punctured tire in the picture) but they stated they had never seen such a thing before. So the name of this TB is Tired O' Wrench it has nothing to do with BEING tired and everything to do with BEING IN my tire! So help him on his way, but PLEASE, keep him away from your tires! :O) ~IMPG~

I will bring "Tired Ol' Wrench" to my garage in Canada. There are 2 VW Beetles (74 and 99) and 2 snowmobiles to fix. I'm sure it can be usefull. Don't worry, it will get back on the road soon.

Taking the Ol' wrench for a vacation to Disneyworld!

An interesting story! Last winter in Ontario the potholes cost me 2 tire rims and a roof nail buried in the snow gave me a slow puncture. Hopefully it will be less expensive now that I am in BC?
