Here is our log for picking up your TB. "OMG, what a trip, nightmare really. We decided to go in and rescue the TB (and lego man) that had been there for way too long. Don't understand why people leave TBs in such remote places that are visited rarely. It is unfair to the TB owner and the cache owner should make an effort in reasonable time to move it on. Anyway, we decided to go in in a truck we were driving back from Melbourne. It was 3.3m high and it had trouble clearing the thick overhanging branches in places. The rocky areas which were plentiful and horrendous were extremely challenging and we got a popped tyre by a mallee root after 4 hours in. Nearly lost both big wing mirrors but managed to fold them right in. Did lose the orange lights off the top of the truck, though. Duco, what's that? We did this because it was an older truck but it still looked very worse for wear after this trek. After another 2 hours we arrived at a great location. We were considering going snorkelling when we saw 6 sharks enjoying a big school of fish and a stingray also close by. Decided to take lots of photographs instead. Set up camp nearby and spent awhile playing with a small snake which seemed to like the look of our tent. Ended up moving it to a bush a fair way in the distance. Very memorable journey to a remote cache. Extremely stressful and exhausting. Don't know what it would take to get a terrain of 5, maybe a raging river crossing - but unlikely out here. Took TB. TFTC" We hope you appreciate the effort it took to rescue your TB 🙂
