PLEASE KEEP THIS GEOCOIN MOVING!! It wants to travel far and wide, so that as many cachers as possible as see it and collect its icon. At some point, it would like to visit the Birka area, but it is in no hurry. If you can post a photo of it on its travels, that would be awesome :-) Discoveries are always welcome.

The coin

Birka was a major Viking trading center, and is considered the first true city in Scandinavia. It was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

"chaosmanor's Birka - colored" visited the NASA Johnson Space Center and their Rocket Park located in Houston, Texas, USA.

The Texas Longhorns who live behind the Saturn V Rocket barn were far out in their field today so, sorry, no Texas Longhorn pictures today.

"chaosmanor's Birka - colored" also saw the Space Shuttle Independence (well, a replica of it, anyway) mounted on the original NASA 905 shuttle carrier aircraft, two T-38 jets, and an Apollo command module (an outdoor replica- the real one is inside Space Center Houston, next door).
