About This Item

Our travel bug, Humey, was named for the high humidity on the day that he was first released in Hawaii. Humey is a blue Tonka Truck from their 'Chuck the Truck' series.

It is our hope to leave him at a cache whenever we go on vacation, then watch him make his way back home.

    HUMEY! Holy Cow! This little guy's done some travelin'! Looks like he started near Kailua. Cool skatepark there! It's more humid on the leeward side of the island. I actually surfed the North Shore. We enjoyed a great couple of weeks in Hawaii. It's sure a lot prettier over there. When I got him back from the old cold cache in Kentucky and dried him off, he climbed on one of my old toy planes and beeped the horn. He'll be on his way soon. Mahalo for the fun little find!     Well, we had wanted to get Humey all the way to Ohio, but had to settle for a view of Ohio from a beautiful elevation overlooking the Ohio river and the state of Ohio on the other side. Ride safely and good luck Humey!

    Humey is warm and safe. We picked him up from Doug's Bug Cache, waypoint GCC3AE in North Carolina. He will be traveling to Ohio soon!
