Ooops-my first travel bug and I blew the tracking! I found it August 17, 2022 in Virginia while visiting my granddaughter. My plan was to bring it home and release it near my home on eastern Long Island, NY. But I never found a good spot. I brought it with me on a trip to Brimfield, Ma. At a reststop on our way, I read about a cache on the other side of the highway. So on our way home, we stopped, took a hike in the woods to find a travel bug hotel to deposit it. My hubby says we are in Ct. now. So the bug travelled in my pocket from Va through Md, Pa and NJ to NY on Amtrak train. And then by car from NY to Ma to Ct. Planning a trip to Zermatt in the spring and friends suggested I bring the bug home to the country it started in, but I know it had plans to see the world.
