WIN! In the spirit of fairness we must append the rules for our Travel Bug distance competition. Thus, the same person(s) may not carry a TB from cache to cache. The TB must be placed in a cache and then retrieved from that cache by a different person(s), thereby avoiding any unfair advantage gained. Thank you all for your help in this matter!

About This Item

This Travel Bug started in a 6th grade Geography class from Scenic Middle School in Central Point, Oregon. There are 37 other students entered in this contest to see who's TB will log the most miles and see more of our world by the end of the school year. We appreciate your help in our mission and would love to hear stories and see pictures from the places you've seen during your travels.

    Well here's a strange bit of coincidence - we're from the same area this TB came from! Didn't realize it until we got back home to Shady Cove from a trip to the Portland area and a visit to the ORIGINAL STASH TRIBUTE PLAQUE where we found this TB. I looked it up and was surprised to see that it was one of the Scenic class TB's. So she's back in the neighborhood if anyone missed her! We've helped move three or four of the other Scenic bugs, so it was fun to come across another one. We'll drop her off soon!

    I am glad I could be part of your classes experiment. I surely wish Tabbitha Jumpy Butterfly a safe and adventurous trip. I hope this is the talk of the class where Tabbitha visited the beginning of all geocaching. Here is a picture (sorry so poor) of Tabbatha on the plaque.😁
