worky

We would like our "worky" to travel to as many countries as possible. We would like "worky" to have his photo taken in as many workplaces as possible during his journey.

Unser "worky" soll durch Deutschland und möglichst viele andere Länder reisen und an diese Seite Fotos zurücksenden, die in irgendeiner Weise mit dem Thema Arbeit zu tun haben, z.B.: "Worky" auf einer Werkbank in enem Betrieb, beim Holzfällen im Wald, am Computerarbeitsplatz, usw.

"worky" is the first TB set up by the Comenius goes Geocaching project. We are schools from Spain,Italy, Scotland and Germany. We want all our pupils to find out more about jobs, apprenticeships and careers before they leave school.If anyone has an offer of an apprenticeship or job please get in touch. If you have any other work based models, logos or publicity items that you think would be interesting please add it to the chain. Als erster Travelbug des Schulprojektes: "Comenius goes geocaching", ein gemeinsames Projekt der Willy-Brandt-Gesamtschule Kerpen mit Schulen aus Italien, Spanien und Schottland wäre es Spitzenklasse, wenn sich evtl. sogar Kontakte zu Unternehmen ergeben würden, die ausbilden, bzw. sogar Ausbildungsplätze zur Verfügung stellen könnten! Schön wäre es auch, wenn "worky" nicht alleine bleiben würde und sich evtl. noch einíge andere "Werktätige" auf dieser Kette wiederfinden würden... ;-)

Comenius goes Geocaching - dies ist der Name eines europaweiten Projektes, durchgeführt von vier Schulen:

• Willy Brandt-Gesamtschule Kerpen (Deutschland)
• Istituto tecnico industriale statale “Carlo Zuccante (Italien)
• IES de Fuentesaúco (Spanien)
• Inverness Royal Academy (Schottland)

Das Projekt, das von der EU im Rahmen des COMENIUS-Programms finanziell unterstützt wird, läuft von 2006 bis 2009. Die grundlegende Idee ist, Schulen europaweit zu verknüpfen und den Schülerinnen und Schülern so Gelegenheit zu geben, andere Länder und Sprachen kennenzulernen.

COMENIUS GOES GEOCACHING - This is the title of an europeanwide project run by four schools situated in Germany, Italy, Scotland and Spain.:

• Istituto tecnico industriale statale “Carlo Zuccante (Italy)
• IES de Fuentesaúco (Spain)
• Inverness Royal Academy (Scotland)

The project deals – of course – with geocaching. It is supported by the EU and getting funds out of the SOKRATES/COMENIUS programme. The project started in 2006 and runs until summer 2009. The basic idea is to link international schools and creating chances for pupils all over Europe to meet and getting the chance to practise different languages, at first hand English! There were several meetings of the project partners and some caches were created! The pupils learned about different things and habits of the involved partners and how to use basic skills in language and the usage of geocaching.
