I brought the TB to Galena before sending it on to Waterloo, WI and the Trek factory located there on Madison St.
This is one of my caches right along the hwy in Galena. It is next to the Little General Miniature Golf Course. It is the 10th General. Lots of bugs move through here on their journey.
There were 9 Civil War Generals from Galena. Grant is the most famous. I portray Maj. General John E. Smith in the Galena Generals. We do parades and historic events. 2011 is 150 years since the beginning of the Civil War.
The picture of me in the cache listing shows many of my hobbies. I am wearing my General Uniform. I am holding Kyle my Silky Terrier on one arm and I have my Garmin 60csx gps in my other hand. I am standing in front of the Old Galena Blacksmith shop where I volunteer as a blacksmith. If you look closely you will notice the Boy Scout Pin on my hat. I was a scout leader for 25 years.
