Dieser Travel Bug soll an die Amateurfunk-DXpedition zur Peter I. Insel im Jahre 2006 erinnern.
Der kleine Pinguin würde sich sehr darüber freuen, andere Funkamateure zu treffen, die ihm das heimische Shack und imposante Antennenanlagen zeigen. Vielleicht bringt ihn ja auch mal jemand zu ähnlich exponierten Orten wie der Peter I. Insel oder ermöglicht ihm die Teilnahme an einer Dxpedition.
Aber natürlich freut er sich auch über jeden anderen Geocacher, der ihm hilft, weiter zu reisen...

This Travel Bug was created in memory of the DXpedition to the island of Peter I.
The little penguin looks forward to meet radio amateurs, who will show him their shacks and impressive antennas. Perhaps someone could take him to somekind similar places like Peter I. or make it possible to participate in a real ham radio DXpedition.
But of course he will be glad about every geocacher, who will help him to tour the world…
