About This Item

This is a geocoin in the shape of the state of Nevada.  On the front are the words CACHING NEVADA "It's not all about micros", the year 2008, and images of pine trees and a jeep. 

On the reverse side are the words GREAT BASIN & EASTERN SIERRA GEOCACHERS and the image of an indian symbol.

    • Earning the Turtle It was a hard month of caching, but we needed to find 100 caches to earn all the hidden creatures souvenirs. We did a geo trail in Portsmouth Va, that earned us the first set. But the World Turtle was more elusive. We had to find 50 caches one by one. Not easy when your home area is cached out. Finally a road trip to Culpepper VA. got us the last ones we needed. In this picture we only needed 5 more, but we earned it that day.
