Visited Employee Parking Only (GC4E1H1)Wow, I'm behind on logging my notes for this coin! Buster and I found this cache while refueling on our way home from a visit with Dan and family.

I found this cache behind Cafe du Monde after picking up some beignets with Amanda and Brenda. We enjoyed exploring the French Quarter, and this was my only cache find for the trip. So nice to spend time with good friends! Lots of good memories here in New Orleans... (Miss you, Mel!)

Decided to finally find another cache close to home instead of just the farther away ones, and grabbed this one on a visit to Forest Lawn nearby. Beautiful spring Sunday!

Visited 3/26/2015 busternfruss took it to Yokahu Tower Puerto Rico - 25.09 miles  Visit Log

Our last cache find on our trip to Puerto Rico. This was another lucky one--after climbing the tower, I was able to get a cell signal long enough to see there was a cache nearby. I looked for it briefly while the tour bus driver was gathering the group to leave. I couldn't find it, joined the group, and told Leanne about it. She made the dash for the cache while I thought of questions to ask about the local flora if the driver said it's time to go. Thank goodness Leanne's a fast runner! We got our smiley and then left the national rainforest.
I've visited one other rainforest, in Hawaii, but that was pre-caching, so this is my only rainforest cache. Blessed to be able to spend this week with Leanne in Puerto Rico. Home tomorrow...

So glad that the cache brought Leanne and me to this pretty little park and the nearby chapel while we were walking around Old San Juan. We enjoyed seeing all the bronze shoes, the many pigeons, the view, and the resident cat family here! Signed the log in Leanne's lip liner and left a CGGW pathtag--hope someone logs its location. Another fun day in Puerto Rico!

Leanne and I were able to find this cache with very, very little info, lucky us! This beautiful beach on the island of Culebra was my favorite spot on my favorite Puerto Rican tour--Captain Tyrone's boat. One of his crew members "towed" me to shore, since I can't swim, so I got to explore the area with Leanne. Absolutely beautiful, and I'm thankful to be able to have this experience with my daughter!

Well, I see I've managed to log this one a little out of order with the previous one! (But #725 is correct, I think.) Leanne and I enjoyed finding several of the caches on this power trail. A couple of them stumped us, and we ran out of time, daylight, batteries, and energy on our long way around the circle to a great dinner. So very blessed to enjoy this beautiful evening with Leanne!

Another of the power trail series that Leanne and I found while taking the loooonng way around the estuary to Casa Lola. The weather was beautiful and so was the walking path. Finding several caches was a fun bonus!

  • A lovely evening with my daughter in Puerto Rico

Next find (I think) with Leanne while seeing a bit of San Juan on our way to dinner. Lovely evening!

First cache in Puerto Rico, found with Leanne on a beautiful walk around a little bay on our way to dinner at Casa Lola. She invited me to tag along on this trip for her to present two papers at conferences at the Caribe Hilton, where we stayed. Fun trip!
