My goal is to escape and travel to Gaggenau Germany, share pictures of my expedition, and maybe even meet up with other MOGs and MogVolk :)
UNIMOG Travel Bug
UNIMOG: from the German name UNIversal-MOtor-Gerät, universal motor equipment.
MOGs love expeditions. My big brother loves geocaching too. So it's a natural match to combine the two with O M Navstar's birthday travel bug! Since BigMog won't fit inside an UrbanMicroCache, let alone a regular one, I've accepted the commission to embark upon a quest to N 48.800 E 8.322, i.e. Germany's idyllic Murg Valley and our ancestral home of Gaggenau
My big brother's ancestors were built here after WWII as a combination farm tractor/truck, suitable for gathering up the harvest and bringing it to market. As time passed UNIMOGs became adapted to the military and fire service in Europe. My big brother served in the Bundeswehr as a communications van before departing Germany to retire in Southern California. I'd like to eventually visit with the Gaggenau Unimog Club, share pictures of my travels, and meet some mogs on the way :-) Here is where I have been so far.
