About This Item

Harp up a tree

I have a harp (or three, see my harp pages) and two of them have travelled a bit. This bug is a key-fob with a picture of my newest harp on it. The photo was taken in Australia while I was there for an Xmas holiday.

When we arrived at the stash, two other cachers were already present. Thank God they didn't recognize the travel bug, so I was able to snatch it quickly. 😁

Toen we bij de stash arriveerden, waren daar al twee andere cachers aanwezig. Godzijdank herkenden ze de travel bug niet, zodat ik hem snel achterover kon drukken. 😁

Anke plays the harp herself, so she was eager to get her hands on this specific travelbug. Meeting Team Bezemsteel at the start of the cache, we were able to take this travelbug and photograph it with our own french Carmac harp.

Proud to be the host 👍 of this travelbug. Found it in my cache Flaporen Route Scherpenzeel and left it there for the next visitors ❔ to arrive.

It is passing this beautifull centerpart of The Netherlands and visiting this area almost at sea level. During WWII some dikes were even deliberately damaged to flood the area. Some smaller dikes are still found here in the neighbourhood of this cache and called the Grebbenlinie, often mentioned in famous stories of WWII in The Netherlands.

Looking forward of following this travelbug on the net.
