Found it during our trip to Flisa. A wonderful day to go from Sweden to Norway to buy some diapers and take some caches! The kids were happy to bring the cute smurf home. :)

The note on the smurf says it wants to go to Scandinavia. I could not find any thing more Scandinavia than this cache. It is situated in a region that bridges the border between Norway and Sweden that was first populated by imigrating Finns in the 15th and 16th century. The imigrating Finns mainly came from the Savolax region, where they had developed a form of farming that was able to utilize the Taiga (pine and spruce forest belt of northern Eurasia).

The cache it selv is at the church in the Åsnes municipally part of the area thus the name Åsnes Finnskog kirke (literary Åsnes Finn Forest church)
