This the first cache of the Goose Neck hike for Hot Hot Hot. It was one heck of a walk, but a photographer from the Washington Post joined us for this one. This bridge was built in 1932. On our way to the other caches along the trail, we also found another nice bridge. The Goose Neck Creek meets the Potomac about 2.5 miles from here, and forms a border between Virginia and Maryland.

Since we're traveling to over 15 states this week, I kinda figured we'll see some interesting bridges. Today, we went over a neat bridge into Staten Island, and the George Washington Memorial Bridge as we headed to Connecticut. The George Washington Bridge is not a place you want to be on a Friday evening. We were in line forever on it. These two bridges explicitly ask that we not take pictures :/.
