Take Me To Your Leader

We're putting this Travel Bug into commission in an attempt to reinstate our earlier Travel Bug's Mission Statement. That Bug turned up M.I.A. in Yakima, Washington not long after it was released August 11th, 2002; to be exact, after it was placed on the 19th, it disappeared. Although he was such a cute Polar Bear we believe that this new guy is much more suited for the task at hand. ��

We would appreciate that those who elect to pick it up, LOG IT correctly and in a timely manner. And also, please don't pick it up if you aren't willing to replace it within a month. It's very disconcerting for us all when someone hangs on to travel bugs for literally months at a time. �� Remember, if YOU don't want the responsibility, please leave it for someone else. Now that sounds fair!

Attached to this Travel Bug is a laminated sheet listing all 50 State Capitols. If you place this Travel Bug in one of those cities, please cross that city off the list with a "Sharpie" (permanent marker). That way future finders will know right away where he has already been.

After quite a party last night, Take Me To YOur Leader was ready for a little rest in the capitol. We dropped him off about 10:30 a.m. to wait for Soup, who has promised to pick him up and try to move him towards someone who can take him to the Olympia Cache Machine in January. Best of luck to this bug!

We have NOT forgotten about this bug!
We intend a cache day in S. Salem on the weekend of the 19th and WILL drop it off there, we promise. That's still under a month!
Also, we have posted on the forums that if someone is headed up to the Olympia Cache Machine who has access to the Salem area, we'd like to try to hook up a drop off-pick up thing for Take Me To Your Leader.
We're hoping this expedites his movement towards Olympia.
Have faith in us, we're trying!
