The VGC 2008 Geocoin - Kapitein Haak edition is the personal geocoin of Team Kapitein Haak and one of eight different geocoins minted during a collective project called "Vereenigde Geocoins Compagnie" (VGC) led by KarelKraak. In total four different finishings of this coin were produced: antique copper, antique gold, shiny silver andshiny gold.

All geocoins designed during the VGC 2008 project shares the same icon, prefix and design for the backside of the coins, while the front was designed by the teams themselves. An detailed describtion for the backside was given on geocoin.nl: The 17th century flag in the background and the letters VGC in front of the VGC 2008 geocoin, are respecting the VOC, a trading company from earlier days. Besides the name of this collective, the blue border has the text 'De Iurie Predea.' It is the latin title of a book by Hugo de Groot about the right of booty.

Beim Geocoinfest Europe 2015 Netherlands in eindhovenhttp://coord.info/GC5E266 gab es natürlich jede Menge Geocoins zu bestaunen. Die meisten waren allerdings unaktiviert und sollten gekauft oder getauscht werden. Die imposante Sammlung von Geo-Dragonchild hat es mir besonders angetan - wirklich tolle Coins!!! Das eine oder andere Schmuckstück würde auch gut in meine Sammlung passen! ;-)

Beim Geocoin-Festival in Eindhoven gab es viel zu sehen und wir haben viele nette Cacher getroffen
Ein Highlight waren natürlich auch die TB und Coins die hier ausgestellt wurden, darunter die sehr schöne Sammlung "Dutch Geocoin Ausstellung" die wir hiermit discovern dürfen, vielen Dank

Tijdens een bezoek aan het geocoinfest 2015 in Eindhoven deze coin gezien in de Dutch Geocoin Collectie. Het is een prachtige collectie met veel mooie en unieke geocoins. Bedankt voor het laten bezichtigen/discoveren van deze coins.
