Current Goal

To get out of the UK, due to the last 2 years of awful summer weather, and go visit the USA. The Ultimate destination is as close to Groton (up near the finger lakes), New York state so i can spend some time with my relatives.

About This Item

This is one of the Garmin Visit UK geocoins, released in Aug/ Sept 08. I believe it's the first one to get out into the wild on the Isle of Wight but has very itchy (damp) feet and needs to travel.... but not in this country!

After discovering a few days ago that we hadn't dropped it off in Heathrow after all (sorry about that), we actually helped it get to the States by leaving it in GC28G99 (Log Cabin) this afternoon.

Before we had even made it home, a newbee cacher had grabbed it off us, so it never got credited with the miles. Sorry again (although this time it wasn't our fault).
