The All Star Racer shoes are racing from cache to cache, racking up miles traveled, tracking whose shoe has gone the furthest, and watching them move across the map. They prefer to be in caches near parks with playgrounds where geocachers can play after visiting the cache.

All Star Racer - Molly

The All Star Racer shoes all started out from the same cache in Rochester, Minnesota. One represents each member of the family. The green shoes are Brian and Molly, the parents. The light purple is Gabrielle, Black is Nathaniel, Yellow is Lucia, Blue is Luke, and Red is Sadie.

This green shoe bug is Molly, the mom.

We went to the "Lake that Never Was" cache hoping to grab the George W. Quarters TB. What a great surprise to find SEVEN more TBs - and racing ones at that!

We selected Gabrielle, because of the purple color, then realized that these little shoes likely represented a family with young kids, who would ALL be anxiously watching for their shoe to move to another cache.

Since the quarters TB languished here for two weeks, we decided to take the whole lot, after a bit of hemming and hawing. Tomorrow, we will head out to drop each shoe into a different Rochester cache, so the whole family can watch them travel.
