Flagler's Dream

Henry Flagler was a man with vision. After founding Standard Oil with partners John D. Rockefeller and Samuel Andrews he pursued a dream to build a railroad all the way to Key West, FL. He purchased the St. Augustine & Halifax RR and converted it to standard guage and then did the same with other railroads to form the Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway. The Flagler museum is in Palm Beach, FL.
