Hippo had a really nice day: Shortly after beginning his journey, Hippo could marvel at a historic train near Erlangen, Germany. Afterwards, it proved not to have any vertigo while climbing across deep canyons with shaky bridges. It was in deepest bavaria (actually Upper Palatinate) then and got so tired by the whole action that it laid down in a warm, safe location. I didn't want to wake it so I left it there. Hopefully a nice person will pick it up?

Hippo hatte heute einen schönen Tag: Kurz nach Reiseanbruch durfte er eine historische Bahn bewundern. Anschließend ging es in die tiefste Oberpfalz, wo tiefste Schluchten auf wackeligen Brücken überwunden werden mussten. Das war so anstrengend, dass er die Rückreise nicht mehr antreten wollte: Er legte sich in einem netten, warmen Plätzchen mit gutem Ausblick schlafen. Hoffentlich wird sich jemand um ihn kümmern?

My FIRST! Yeeeeeees! What a nice easter present.

I'll snuggle with it,take some pictures and send it on a tour on Monday. I decided its next station will be about 100 km further south.

Mein ERSTER!!!! Jaaaaa! Ein schönes Ostergeschenk.

Ich werde ihn liebhaben, schön fotografieren und am Montag auf die Reise schicken. Er wird etwa 100 km weiter südlich wieder auftauchen.
