Shining Star

Shining Star started out on Sears Island along the scenic coast of Penobscot Bay in Maine. Where else would a shining star be? We hope to find out!! If you have a chance to take a photo, please remember to turn the dog tag to hide the tracking number. There are so many places to go! Please keep me moving. Handmade by the owner in polymer clay with the millefiori process.

We enjoyed the Shining Star it was so pretty. Sorry we had it for so long. We took it on trips to visit Colleges in New Hampshire and Boston; but could not find the right place to put it. Took it camping for the 4th of July and found the cache "For the Birds" It was our first multi. We had alot of fun because we first had to go to a spot on Lake Champlain with hundres of bird houses. Had to count some of them.We also brought some friends who have never geocached and they enjoyed it. Brought their Fresh Air Chiold too. Camped at Camp Skyland. A nice small campground with gorgeous views of the sky. So this was the perfect place to put the Shining Star back.

Found it in So Far Away with beautiful trails along Lewis Creek with waterfalls, rushing water and melting ice. Going to take it for good luck on a wirl wind tour of colleges with our son. Will place it in a cache near one of the colleges that has a good feel.
