Very sad situation. I had picked up this lovely TB from an event in Los Altos yesterday. It was brought back from a trip to Europe by a caching friend of mine. It's goal: To get to Salinas! Since I had tickets to a play in Salinas today (about an hour's drive from where I live in San Jose), I happily agreed to take it along and find a likely place to drop it. After a bit of research (where it seems there are not many caches near the center of Salinas of sufficient size to hold a TB) I identified 2 likely candidates...a primary and a backup. Now here's the sad part....I went to both of these caches...and struck out twice. I really did try! I was not able to search around for yet another cache to drop it (my Muggle-husband was getting impatient by now), so I brought it back to San Jose with me to drop into my own TB Hotel. Hopefully the next cacher will have more luck than I.

Picked this up at the event in Los Altos. Am going to Salinas tomorrow, so hopefully will be able to find a cache big enough to accommodate it! To be continued......If there is a particular cacher in Salinas who wants to meet up with me to have it hand-delivered, feel free to contact me directly.
