Travel bugs seem to regularly disappear from urban caches and at caching events. Please drop this item in Rural or Premium Member Only caches. To move on down the highway to caches near roadways that might use it or one of its cousins.
The noise we hear as we drive down the road and change lanes comes from little objects like this travel bug. Sometimes the bumps are very close together but sometimes they’re far apart. Is it a bump—bump you hear or a bump----------bump? Could depend on ones speed too. Bump---bumps come in a variety of colors and features----some white with two reflectors, others yellow with one or two reflectors or white like this one with only one reflector. According to the internet, this one was made by 3M and cost about $9.60. We hope that the Texas Highway Department is getting a better price. This TB was found outside of Galveston lying along the roadway when we stopped to find a cache. Sit back and try to calculate the numbers of roads and highways in all our states that use them.
