TO TRAVEL TO CACHES NEAR NAVAL FACILITIES AND POSSIBLY TO GO ABOARD A NAVY SHIP. TO VISIT SUCH PLACES AS PEARL HARBOR, TINIAN, SAIPAN, THE PHILIPPINES, AND SAN DIEGO. THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF THIS DOG TAG SERVED IN ALL THESE PLACES DURING WWII, EVENTUALLY TO RETURN TO THE TIDE CREEK CACHE IN OREGON. Additional photos at various cache locations are most welcome.

THIS WWII NAVY DOG TAG BELONGED TO A SAILOR WHO WAS A PEARL HARBOR SURVIVOR. HE SERVED ON THE BATTLESHIP MARYLAND DURING THE ATTACK AND SERVED THE REST OF THE WAR ON THE BATTLESHIP COLORADO.

Hoping to drop this off to continue its adventures today. The original was returned home about a month ago. The tb is now two engraved dog tags. One has Dwight's info on it and the other has the tracking code. Glad to have had a part in the adventure, but it's ready to go.
