Current Goal

Cruizn The World is on a mission to log as many miles as possible. He really wants to meet up with other TOYOTA LANDCRUISERS and 4Runners and have his picture taken with them because his owner loves Toyota's.

About This Item

Cruzn The World

Cruizn The World is a 1968 FJ40 Landcruiser. His home base is Southern Illinois, but he also calls Moab, UT home. Since the Landcruiser is known for its reliability it was a natural choice for a travel bug. There is also a small competition with Travel Bug "Rovn The World" to log the most miles.

We have had this TB far too long. Our excuse? The UK's Big Freeze throughout the month of December and Christmas interfering with our geocaching opportunities. We left it in a cache overlooking the River Severn at Portishead, not far from the Port of Avonmouth. Here large ships collect and discharge cars for export/import. - We can see the 4x4s alongside others in the vast "car parks" at the docks. Don't know if there are any Toyotas though!

Found in a cache at the start of a walk Maenporth-Durgan along the coastal footpath in Cornwall. A four wheel drive would have been at home with the terrain encountered along the way! We have a tenuous connection - one of our party used to work for Land Rover, the iconic UK company producing 4x4s. He helped design the diesel engine for the Freelander!
