The first two lids attached were a „Beck’s“-lid and a „Dithmarscher Urtyp”-lid. Beck’s is a famous German beer from Bremen, Dithmarscher comes from the far north of Germany and isn’t that famous – but it’s one of my favourites anyway 😉
Before I dropped it I added a few more lids:
“Veltins”, a beer from the western part of Germany (Nordrhein-Westfalen), very tasty!
“Gilde Ratskeller”, a beer from Hannover. I don’t like it, but I added it because Hannover is my hometown.
“Kilkenny”, an Irish dark beer which is available in Germany as well.
“Zywiec Porter”, a dark beer from southern Poland. It was a personal experiment which failed. This beer tastes like liquorice to me. I hate liquorice! But I can really recommend the normal “Zywiec” which is one of my favourites. That’s why I added the white “Zywiec”-lid too.
Another polish beer I can recommend is “Tyskie”. It’s very tasty too, even if I still prefer “Zywiec”. The “Tyskie”-lid is the white one with the crown and the 1629 on it.
“Allgäuer Brauhaus Kempten”: Pyroice asked me to add this lid made of porcelain. He tried this beer during his time in southern Germany. I don’t know this beer so I can’t tell anything about it.
Have a nice Trip and collect many lids! Hopefully you will reach Brisbane one day with many international and local lids. Good luck!!
