Now, that is an impressive Travel Bug 😮 It's getting a bit nippy down here, too, but it's probably warmer than Bend, Madras or one of those other places along 97 will be, very soon. We're right near the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, which isn't quite an NP, but there's also the Channel Islands National Park nearby. If we happen to head for Death Valley soon, we'll bring it along, else we'll put it in a cache either near the NRA or with a view of the islands.

I saw that the scorpion wants to visit national parks, so I picked him up for some traveling. Your scorpion is hanging out with Cole Man, who wanted to visit state parks as well.

  • Channel Islands Closeup There is a cool nature center here with a tide pool and a model of a miniature mammoth. They lived on the Channel Islands and adults were only 3 or 4 feet tall.

I retrieved it from Arroyo Rocks Two, I can't figure out how it got there or why it was in the TB Graveyard. If someone knows please let me know. I will move it on soon.
