The point system!!!

Negative 25 points for hand offs.
The retriever of the car must find and drop the bug in the next cache or there will be a deduction of 25 points off the racers total.

Cumulative Points.
1 point for every travel bug hotel
1 point for every discovery up to 5 events.
1 point for every micro or other small cache not big enough to hold the car. It is ok to pass through a cache to log miles.
2 points for every cache big enough to hold the car, but just passing through.
5 points for every cache the car is dropped into for discovery or retrieval.

One time points.
Please also log the one time points the cache or cacher qualifies for with the new points.
5 extra points for being retrieved from a cache that is new and not found, the FTF must Log this as being found as a FTF cache.
5 points for the first cache in a new state bordering CO
10 points for the first cache in a new state not bordering CO
10 points for being retrieved from a cache listed as NEW (must be listed as new on geocaching.com at the time of Retrieving the bug.)
10 points for a puzzle cache over 4 stars in difficulty, cache must not have been previously found by the current holder of the car dropping it in the cache.
10 points if you dropped into a cache as a FTF.

CACHER BONUS POINTS:
These are cacher bonus points that are for each different cacher, if a cacher runs the car through multiple caches the points will apply only once, but will start over for the same cacher after 2 other cachers have MOVED the car to 2 other caches or 10 other cachers have discovered the car and have not moved the car.
25 points for being MOVED by a newbe cacher (under 50 finds).
25 points for a log moved by a veteran cacher (1000 or more)
50 points for the first travel bug ever found by a newbe cacher (under 50 finds).
50 points for a county that borders the Pacific ocean
50 points for a log moved by a master cacher (5000 or more)
50 points for the first cache in a new country.
75 points one time for a cache in a county bordering the Atlantic Ocean.
75 points for HI or AK
500 points for winning the race.
