To honor cachers whose inventive "spirit" and creativity--like that of the ancient Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer Archimedes--has led to your own enjoyment while out caching. Whenever possible, please release in imaginative caches to honor the creativity of those whose handiwork you've enjoyed.
The original bug went to Europe and back! Lost in Arizona, USA, in a cache that appears to have been muggled, but resurrected with the copy of the original tag. Put back in action by the original owner.
Archimedes is said to have invented the screw. While the screw is a simple unassuming device, there is certainly genius in his wrapping an inclined plane around a shaft to make a screw that could then--when inserted into a tube and twisted--raise water from one elevation to another! This is the spirit of creativity that this bug seeks to honor. Give credit to the inventiveness of a cache designer by dropping this travel bug into an especially ingenious, thought-provoking, clever hide. The emphasis here is on creativity, NOT difficulty: please avoid extremely difficult hides as I would like to keep the bug moving so that others can enjoy the trail of creative caches it will eventually produce. Thanks for playing, and thanks for sharing a creative cache and honoring its designer in this simple way!
