This TB's mission is to visit the cache, which at present is closest to Capt. Holmes' last home on the corner of Blue Mountain Road and One Horse Lane, Sequim, Olympic Peninsula, Washington State: GCY979 'Old School Geocaching' (2.56 miles from the house). Obviously the TB would like to visit the house itself (only if possible), before returning to Denmark. Pictures of TB and house are more than welcome. Perhaps one day I will come back to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.

Captain's Wings

These wing originate from my father's SAS captain's cap. Capt. G. L. Holmes was a british World War 2 pilot, who settled down in Denmark after the war. Upon his retirement in 1975, after several decades of flying for SAS, he moved to Sequim, Washington State, USA, where he claimed that the sun was almost always shining! After 5 years of retirement he quietly passed away among good friends. This TB's mission is to visit the cache, which at present is closest to his home on the corner of Blue Mountain Road and One Horse Lane, Sequim, Olympic Peninsula, Washington State: GCY979 'Old School Geocaching' (2.56 miles from the house). Obviously the TB would like to visit the house itself (only if possible), before returning to Denmark. Pictures are more than welcome! If YOU are the one who takes it 'across', why not fly SAS?
