About This Item

I found this guy in a cache and knew he wanted to be made into a traveler. It occurred to me that spiders have a tough time around us humans. In their world they are simply going about their business of staying alive and making the next generation. A trait shared by all living creatures.

But when their worlds cross with the humans they suddenly face fierce persecution. Unlike other sources of danger such as hunting birds, humans often attack out of fear alone. This fear is often unfounded as spiders have no interest in humans or human business and would like nothing other then to stay away from them.

With that in mind he wants to try to find common ground where humans and spiders can co-exist in harmony. He wants you to know that he and his brethren mean no harm. He also knows it will be difficult or impossible for some humans to get past their fear and that’s understandable; in those cases he suggests keeping in mind that they are just another living creature sharing this amazing world and will do their best to stay out of your way.

And when you reached a better understanding, no matter how small it may be, it will be time for him to move on to spread the word.
