Ermintrude

Ermintrude wants to travel in a “roundabout” fashion, to magical rounadbaout places via cache boxes.
Ermintrude is the over-energetic cow from “The Magic Roundabout” television programme. This cult series became a firm favourite with kids and adults; it was first shown in France in 1963 and was produced by Serge Danot. It was translated into English by Eric Thompson, (Emma's father) and first appeared on BBC TV in 1965; Nigel Planer revived the series for Channel 4 in 1992.

Ideas for Places and themes for Ermintrude to visit: She loves fairgrounds, playgrounds, children, other cows, other travel bugs and of course, any characters from the programme.
By the way there is another “Magic Roundabout” in Swindon, which opened in 1972, a photograph of Ermintrude near that would be great, but mind the traffic!

MAGIC MOVIE NEWS.

Amazingly, only a matter of hours after Ermintrude was placed in her first cache, we discovered that a new feature film costing £12.8 million of The Magic Roundabout is being made. The Pathé Pictures computer generated film is due for release in 2004 and will include the voices of Jim Broadbent (Brian), Richard O'Brien (Zebedee), Tom Baker (ZeeBadee), Robbie Williams (Dougal) and Kylie Minogue (Florence).
