This Rehkidz (Deer) Travel Bug wanted to be dropped off in Big Pine Key (island in the Florida keys), which is home of the National Key Deer Refugee. Key Deer are federally protected and are listed as an endangered species. Key Deer only live on a few islands in the lower keys. There are only about 800 Key Deer. Key Deer are tiny!!! They live in the forests here.
