Current Goal

I have removed Patriotic Bear. P. Bear has been stolen with his travel dog tags. Thanks to all that have moved him around the US on his 2 missions. I may send out Patriotic Bear 2.0 under my origional login Ozzman, at a later date. Brian

About This Item

P. Bear's 1st mission was to visit Washington, D.C. and to see a few state capitals on his trip, then return to the Portland, Oregon area to be picked up for mission #2. Patriotic Bear's 2nd mission is to visit a cache in all of the states he missed during his 1st mission, then return to the Portland, Oregon area for mission #3 (to be determined later). If he visits Hawaii or Alaska, please log him in/out of a cache and bring him back to the continental 48 so he isn't stuck far away for long...thanks States visited as of 9/10/07 are in red: (note: P. Bear has also been logged in Canada)

Thought this would be a good place for a mileage log. Since our last log we have been to Capital Reef N.P. and are now at Bryce Canyon N.P. All the Bugs and Coins are having a great time. We took them on a hike through the Hoodoos yesterday. What a beautifull hike. Hoodoos are formations that are caused by errosion.

Stoped by Glacier N.P. for a brief visit but the smoke from the fires in Montana obscured most of the beautifull scenery. Kept all the Bugs and Coins inside so they would not be affected. Our next spot will be in Yellowstone N.P. and then on south. Nice to be back in the "Lower 48".

We stoped in Hyder, AK and had a great time watching the Bears fish in the creek. Then to Prince George, Jasper National Park, Lake Louise, Banff and then to Calgary. We visited the Olympic Park, what an awsom place, all the Bugs and Coins were impressed.
